Frequently Asked Questions

  • Yes. All new patients must complete a medical consultation before receiving treatment. This ensures treatments are safe and appropriate for you.

  • All patients must register in our patient portal and complete a medical questionnaire prior to treatment. This information is required for Good Faith Exam (GFE) medical clearance with our supervising medical provider.

  • Neurotoxins are injectable treatments that relax targeted facial muscles to soften wrinkles caused by repeated facial expressions such as frowning, squinting, or raising the eyebrows.

  • We offer several FDA-approved options including Botox, Xeomin, Jeuveau, and Daxxify. During your consultation, we will determine which option is best for your treatment goals.

  • Results typically last 3–4 months, depending on the product used, the treatment area, and individual metabolism. Some patients may experience longer-lasting results with certain products.

  • Most patients begin seeing results within 3–5 days, with full results visible around 10–14 days after treatment.

  • There is little to no downtime. Mild redness, swelling, or small injection marks may occur but usually resolve within a few hours.

  • Chemical peels help improve acne, pigmentation, sun damage, uneven skin tone, and fine lines by exfoliating the top layers of skin.

  • Some peels cause visible peeling while others cause minimal flaking. The level of peeling depends on the strength of the peel used.

  • Most patients receive chemical peels every 4–6 weeks depending on their skin type and goals.

Chemical Peels

  • Dermal fillers are used to restore volume, enhance facial contours, and soften deeper lines. Common areas include the lips, cheeks, chin, jawline, and smile lines.

  • Depending on the product and treatment area, most fillers last 6–18 months.

  • At SA Method Aesthetics, we focus on conservative, natural-looking results. Treatments are customized to enhance your features without overfilling.

  • Mild swelling and bruising can occur and typically resolves within a few days to one week.

Microneedling with PRP / VAMP FAQ’s

  • Microneedling is a treatment that uses tiny needles to create controlled micro-injuries in the skin, stimulating collagen production and improving skin texture, tone, and overall quality.

  • Platelet-Rich Plasma therapy (PRP) uses your own blood to extract growth factors that help stimulate collagen production and support skin rejuvenation.

  • VAMP by Prollenium is a regenerative skin booster that contains vitamins, amino acids, minerals, and PDRN to support skin repair and rejuvenation when combined with microneedling.

  • Most patients benefit from a series of 3–4 treatments spaced about 4–6 weeks apart for optimal results.

  • Your skin may appear red and feel warm for 24–48 hours, similar to a mild sunburn.

  • Certain medical conditions, medications, or pregnancy/breastfeeding may prevent treatment. This will be reviewed during your consultation and medical questionnaire.

  • To reduce bruising, patients are often advised to avoid alcohol, NSAIDs, fish oil, and certain supplements for several days prior to treatment when possible.

  • Many patients feel nervous before their first treatment. We take a gentle, educational approach, explaining each step so you feel comfortable and confident.
